Senior Analyst Role Description

Position SummaryWe’re seeking a full‑time Senior Analyst to support current and future client work as well as internal initiatives. Depending on the day, you may work on launching a new rare disease product, developing a commercial plan for a breakthrough Phase 3 asset, or creating a commercial excellence program for a large biopharma. A highly motivated, proactive doer passionate about healthcare is required.
Some travel is expected, but generally limited.

Duties & Responsibilities
- Support strategic client engagements: secondary research, analysis/insight generation, Excel modeling, narrative storytelling through PowerPoint and Word, participate in client meetings and workshops, lead portions of strategic work streams.
- Support project management for clients: cross‑functional launch support, milestone tracking, dashboard & report development, strategic workstream support, run client meetings, and ad‑hoc support of initiatives.
- Support internal initiatives: thought leadership, onboarding of new members, planning internal lunch & learns, etc.
- Play an integral team member across all responsibilities: proactive communication and coordination, ownership of tasks, stewardship of culture.
- 1‑3 years of prior work experience at a major strategy consulting firm or a smaller life‑sciences consulting firm.
- Mastery of technical consulting skills – client‑ready storytelling slides, usable Excel models, project tracking with Smart Sheet or similar, robust secondary research, attention to detail.
- Familiarity with the life‑sciences industry.
- Deep intellectual curiosity – constantly ask “why” and find the answer.
- Ability to work with ambiguity and manage time across multiple projects.
- Experience working effectively as part of a team.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.

- Ability to travel locally, nationally and internationally.
- Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline – business, economics, biology, etc.
- Desire for hybrid work environment (team in‑office Tuesday‑Thursday, optional WFH Monday and Friday, subject to client commitments).
- Candidates local to the Boston or Philadelphia areas (primary office in Newton, MA; smaller office in the greater Philadelphia area); NYC may be a future option.
The annualized salary range is $100,000 – $130,000, plus an incentive bonus. Base pay may vary based on qualifications such as skills, knowledge, experience, and education. Other compensation may include health benefits, 401(k), etc.
