Description:
Under the direction of the Facilities Director and/or his/her designee, the Project Manager will be responsible for defining project objectives, managing schedules and budgets and ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and according to quality standards.

Develop project scopes, objectives, schedules, milestones, budgets, and implementation plans in collaboration with the Director of Facilities, College leadership, campus stakeholders, architects, engineers, and consultants.

Monitor construction and renovation activities to ensure work is progressing in accordance with approved plans, specifications, schedules, budgets, contracts, and College requirements.
Track project schedules, milestones, deliverables, and deadlines; identify potential delays or conflicts and work with project stakeholders to develop appropriate solutions.
Monitor project budgets, commitments, expenditures, invoices, change orders, contingencies, and forecasts in coordination with the Director of Facilities and appropriate College departments.
Review project proposals, drawings, specifications, schedules, cost estimates, change requests, and other construction documentation and provide recommendations as appropriate.
Coordinate construction activities with ongoing College operations to minimize disruptions to academic programs, student services, campus events, and administrative functions.
Facilitate project meetings with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, College departments, and other stakeholders; document decisions, action items, responsibilities, and required follow-up.
Provide regular project status reports to the Director of Facilities, College leadership, and other stakeholders regarding schedules, budgets, construction progress, risks, issues, and upcoming milestones.
Maintain comprehensive and accurate project documentation, including contracts, drawings, specifications, meetings minutes, schedules, budgets, change orders, approvals, correspondence, permits, reports, warranties, and closeout documentation.
Coordinate with applicable College departments and project professionals to support compliance with building codes, permitting requirements, accessibility standards, fire and life-safety requirements, OSHA regulations, and other applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
Conduct regular project site visits and inspections to monitor progress, identify concerns, coordinate corrective actions, and verify that work areas are maintained in a safe and organized manner.
Coordinate project closeout activities, including punch lists, inspections, commissioning, training, warranties, operations and maintenance documentation, record drawings, and turnover of completed facilities to College operations.
Coordinate furniture, fixtures, equipment, technology, security, signage, and other operational requirements associated with new and renovated spaces in collaboration with appropriate College departments.
Assist with planning future capital projects by evaluating facility needs, developing preliminary scopes and cost estimates, and supporting the College’s short- and long-term capital planning process.
Coordinate with external vendors, government agencies, utilities, community organizations, and other partners as necessary to support successful project implementation.
