Customer Service Associate/Teller

Monson Savings Bank is seeking a full-time Customer Service Associate/Teller for our Hampden Branch in a community banking environment.

Hours:

Variable schedule, approximately 37.5 hours per week, Monday through Saturday. Must be available to work Saturdays until approximately 12:30 PM. Hours of work are from 8:15 am to 6:00 pm.

Salary: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour.

• Perform teller duties and customer service functions.
• Cash checks, process deposits, withdrawals, payments, and sale of money orders and bank checks.
• Maintain bank standards for service, customer satisfaction, and relationship building.
• Sell and cross‑sell bank products and services.
• Carry out related administrative duties.

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and math aptitude.
• Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to operate a computer and learn, retain, and follow complex regulatory and security requirements.
