Day-to-DayA rapidly growing national hospitality design and strategy firm is adding a Revit Design Specialist to its Northeast team due to consistent project demand and expanding client portfolios. This group specializes in food service and hospitality design and is known for its high standards, tight‑knit culture, and strong work‑life balance.
You’ll join a collaborative team based in the Newton office, working closely with Design Project Managers and other designers. This role is essential to producing accurate, detailed technical drawings and ensuring project success from concept through completion. You’ll have autonomy in your schedule, opportunities to influence design processes, and immediate exposure to national hospitality clients.
This position offers long‑term advancement within a design‑focused environment that invests heavily in training, cross‑functional learning, and culture building. Team size is small, making your impact highly visible.
Key Responsibilities- Produce high-accuracy technical drawings in Revit aligned with company standards
- Lead portions of design work and support Project Managers on multiple active projects
- Manage drawing sets, revisions, and project documentation
- Communicate with internal teams and clients as a technical design resource
- Collaborate to improve design systems, workflows, and department processes
- Support the sales/business development process with technical input as needed
- Serve as a brand ambassador of the company’s mission, values, and hospitality mindset
- Gain proficiency in Salesforce for pipeline and project tracking
- Participate in a positive, collaborative team culture (dog-friendly office included)
- 3-5+ years design for commercial kitchen or food service/hospitality
- 2+ years of professional Revit experience
- Architectural or related design education
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and shift focus quickly
- Self-driven, accountable, and comfortable working independently
- Experience working with diverse internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to work onsite in Newton, MA
- Strong time management and communication skills
- Enjoys a dog-friendly office environment
$70,000 to $95,000 per year annual salary.
