Position: Architectural Job Captain

The LiRo Group is seeking an Architectural Job Captain to join our Engineering & Architecture department. In this role, you will coordinate architectural production, manage project documentation, and support design from concept through construction. You'll collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, ensure code compliance, and assist in client and consultant communication. Responsibilities

  • Lead day-to-day coordination and production of architectural construction documents from schematic design through construction documents.
  • Translate design concepts into accurate, code-compliant plans, elevations, sections, and details using Revit and Auto
  • CAD.
  • Coordinate architectural work with structural, MEP, civil, and other engineering disciplines to ensure fully integrated documents.
  • Review and organize drawing sets, maintain project CAD/BIM standards, and ensure consistency and quality of documentation.
  • Assist with building code and zoning analysis to support design decisions and permit submissions.
  • Support construction administration activities, including reviewing shop drawings and submittals and preparing responses to RFIs.
  • Participate in project meetings with internal teams, clients, and consultants to address technical and coordination issues.
  • Conduct or assist with site visits and field observations to verify existing conditions and document construction progress.
  • Contribute to project scheduling, monitor progress against milestones, and communicate status to project managers.
  • Mentor junior staff in drafting, modeling, detailing, and coordination best practices within the project team.
