After School Teacher – Part Time.
Wellan Montessori School is seeking educators to support our after school programs in a part time capacity. Openings are for our Beginners program and Upper Elementary (Grades 4
- 8) division. Positions are available beginning in late August 2024 (for training/orientation), with the ability to work a flexible schedule Monday through Friday from 3:00pm - 6:00pm during the school year. This is a great opportunity for college students majoring in education.
- Planning age appropriate curriculum and activities
- Maintaining classroom spaces
- Implementing strict health and safety protocols
- Taking shared responsibility for creating and maintaining an orderly, safe, and appropriately challenging learning environment for children.
- Patient, well organized, flexible, professional, and dependable.
- Strong classroom management skills.
- Able to function in a cooperative teaching environment.
- Able to collaborate with other educators in our community to create an environment where children learn, socialize, explore, and grow together.
Part Time: 3:00pm - 6:00pm shifts available Monday through Friday.
Job Requirements- At least 1 year of relevant experience preferred.
- Experience working with children is required.
