Senior Estimator; T&D

Industry: Power Delivery / Utility Infrastructure

We are partnering with leading engineering, EPC, and construction firms within the power delivery sector who are looking to hire experienced Senior Estimators to support transmission, distribution, and substation infrastructure projects. This role plays a critical part in securing and delivering major utility projects through accurate cost estimating, bid development, and strategic project planning.

• Prepare detailed cost estimates for substation, transmission, and distribution projects
• Lead bid preparation including take-offs, pricing, proposals, and scope analysis
• Review drawings, specifications, and project documentation to develop accurate budgets
• Collaborate with engineering, procurement, construction, and business development teams
• Evaluate subcontractor and vendor pricing and negotiate where required
• Identify project risks, cost drivers, and value engineering opportunities
• Support client presentations and proposal submissions

• Proven estimating experience within T&D, substations, or utility infrastructure
• Strong knowledge of high-voltage construction, EPC delivery, or utility contracting
• Experience with take-offs, cost analysis, and bid strategy development
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong commercial awareness and client-facing communication skills
• Engineering, Construction Management, or related background preferred
