We need a Senior Structural Engineer for our Newton, MA office. The role requires technical leadership, project management, and business development support.

• Perform structural engineering analysis and design for steel, concrete, masonry, and wood structures.
• Serve as Project Manager on diverse projects, overseeing staffing, financial management, and client communication.
• Lead site investigations to document existing conditions and structural deficiencies.
• Develop project plans, design calculations, specifications, and coordinate with other disciplines.
• Oversee construction administration through site visits and issue resolution.
• Apply technical and project management skills on projects ranging from small rehabilitation to large new construction.
• Mentor, train, and develop junior engineering staff.
• Contribute to technical proposals for new work.
• Represent the firm at client meetings and site visits.
• Participate in local industry organizations and business development functions.
• Improve the department’s technical standards.
• Coordinate staffing needs and project financial performance.

• Bachelor of Science in Civil/Structural Engineering;
  Master’s Degree a plus
• 7+ years’ experience in Structural Engineering
• MA PE required
• Strong mentorship skills
• Ability to manage projects, clients, and delegate tasks
• Understanding and application of code requirements
• Experience with various structural analysis software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multitask and consistently meet deadlines
• AutoCAD and Revit experience a plus

• Salary range: $130,000–$150,000 annually (final amount based on qualifications)
