Pay Range: $42 to $46/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate agreement for right of way easements on client's behalf.
- Negotiate removal or establish license agreement for encroachments on client’s transmission easements or fee right of way.
- Desktop review and field verification of potential encroachments.
- Analyze, prepare, review and interpret Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits and licenses.
- Complete rights and restriction reviews.
- Research and review of real property-related documents.
- Understand and interpret easement agreements.
- Support translation of data from Right of Way documents into a stakeholder management database.
- Complete document research as needed.
- Manage and prioritize workload.
- Support client needs as directed.
- Efficient at working independently as well as in team environment.
- Must Have
Skills:
Minimum 3 years of applicable experience in Land and Right of Way related agreements, deeds, easements, leases, permits and licenses. - Experience reviewing and interpreting property related documents, easement agreements, supporting permitting processes and stakeholder database management, coordinating with project teams, and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Industry experience within Energy Infrastructure, Transmission & Distribution, Electric Utilities, Construction & Engineering Services, or related sectors.
- Bachelor’s degree. Applicable experience may be substituted for the degree requirement.
- Working knowledge of general real estate law.
- Strong attention to detail, good verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficient in working with spreadsheets and other task tracking software.
- Capable of working with diverse skill sets in fast paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Team player focused on client service.
- Well organized and able to simultaneously pursue and track multiple project efforts.
- Experience with GIS and familiarity with construction drawings is preferred but not required.
- Valid driver’s license required. Must meet standards to qualify for and maintain the Company’s vehicle driving privileges.
