Our client is seeking a Senior Environmental Engineer or Geologist who is a Licensed Site Professional (LSP) to join their team in the Boston, MA area.
This position offers the opportunity to support environmental remediation, redevelopment, and site assessment projects while working with both public and private sector clients. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical experience, client management skills, and a background in contaminated site investigations and cleanup projects.
Responsibilities- Manage and support environmental remediation and redevelopment projects from planning through completion.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for clients, maintaining strong relationships and providing project updates.
- Lead and support business development efforts, including proposal preparation, client outreach, and market growth initiatives.
- Prepare project scopes, schedules, budgets, and cost estimate
- Coordinate project teams and ensure resources are aligned with project needs.
- Oversee environmental investigations, site assessments, remediation system installation, and performance monitoring activities.
- Provide technical guidance related to contaminated sites, remediation strategies, and regulatory requirements.
- Review project progress, address challenges, and communicate solutions to clients and internal teams.
- Manage project budgets, track costs, and support overall project performance.
- Massachusetts Licensed Site Professional (LSP) certification required.
- Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Professional Engineering or Professional Geologist license preferred.
- 10+ years of experience supporting environmental remediation, site investigation, and redevelopment projects.
- Experience managing projects, budgets, schedules, and client relationships.
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts environmental regulations and remediation programs.
- Proven experience developing and maintaining client relationships.
