The LiRo Group seeks a Senior Environmental Manager to lead environmental programs for complex construction and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will oversee permitting, compliance, impact assessments, and mitigation strategies for transportation, public facility, and private sector work. You will guide project teams on environmental regulations, conduct field inspections and audits, and manage waste, stormwater, and pollution prevention efforts. Collaborating across disciplines, you'll mentor junior staff and support innovative, sustainable solutions in a collaborative, growth-focused culture.
Responsibilities
- Lead environmental compliance for transportation, infrastructure, and building projects
- Develop and implement site-specific environmental management plans
- Oversee permitting, regulatory reporting, and agency coordination
- Manage environmental impact assessments and mitigation strategies
- Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments
- Advise project teams on environmental regulations and best practices
- Coordinate waste, stormwater, erosion, and pollution prevention controls
- Lead and mentor junior environmental staff and consultants
- Support sustainability initiatives and resilience planning
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and client presentations
