Senior Electrical Engineer

The LiRo Group is seeking a Senior Electrical Engineer to join our Engineering & Design team within the Engineering & Architecture industry. Based in a collaborative environment, you will lead electrical design for diverse urban infrastructure and building projects that enhance community resilience. Responsibilities include developing power distribution, lighting, and control systems; coordinating with multidisciplinary teams; ensuring NEC and applicable codes compliance;

and supporting construction activities. You'll mentor junior staff while contributing innovative, sustainable solutions in line with LiRo's culture of teamwork, integrity, and community-focused engineering.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design for complex urban infrastructure and building projects
• Develop power distribution, lighting, and control system plans and specifications
• Coordinate with civil, structural, and architectural teams to integrate designs
• Review calculations, drawings, and submittals for technical accuracy and code compliance
• Support construction phase with RFIs, shop drawing review, and field observations
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical standards and best practices
• Engage with clients to define scope, present design solutions, and resolve issues
• Incorporate sustainability and resilience principles into electrical designs
