We are currently looking for an ambitious Senior Consumables Engineer to join our Endovascular Robotics business within Advanced Therapies. We are a global technology leader in robotic-assisted vascular interventions. We believe the combination of endovascular robotics, image guidance and dedicated devices will change the way neurovascular procedures will be done in the future, enabling better outcomes, and enabling our customers to provide better access to care.
As a Senior Consumables Engineer you will be responsible for:
- Leads the design and development of disposable devices for the next generation product.
- Participates in hands-on activities including prototyping, and engineering testing.
- Participates in generation of new concepts.
- Upgrades the design of existing devices for manufacturability, performance, or reliability improvements.
- Manages vendors in the manufacture and validation of components.
- Develops and maintains project schedules and budgets.
- Develops manufacturing fixtures to manufacture the product
- Works with manufacturing in the development and execution of the manufacturing processes for the initial product builds

- Experience in designing plastic injection molded parts required
- Proficiency with Solid Works modeling required
- Experience with DFMA and DTC is required
- Experience with custom extrusions required
- Experience with consumable manufacturing is required
- Experience with plastic fabrication processes such as heat staking, heat sealing, ultrasonic welding, and insertion is preferred
- Project management experience preferred
- Experience managing external resources preferred
- Strong communication skills required
- Ability to travel up to 10% is required
Required skills to have for the success of this role:
- BS degree in Mechanical, Biomedical, or Manufacturing Engineering required, MS preferred
- 7 yrs experience in a product development role required, medical device experience or other regulated industry highly preferred

The Base Pay Range For This Position Is$114,920 - $158,015
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
