Fiscal & Grant Admin Specialist
The Fiscal and Grant Administration Specialist works with both our Procurement Specialists and Associate Director to support the academic researchers and ensure that administrative, financial, and operational systems and controls are properly maintained. The position will work as part of a team that is essential to the coordination and support of fiscal operations for all Morrissey College departments and serve as a key customer service role for a wide range of fiscal activities and operations.
In addition to managing the daily procurement for a set of researchers, processing vouchers and expense reimbursements, the Administration Specialist will work with the Associate Director to support the hiring, extensions, and effort allocation for research staff. They will support the Associate Director with the setup of new and/or continuing awards as well as the close out of sponsored research project that have reached their end.
They will also be part of the team that provides consolidated projections of research activity.
Requirements:
- Two years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must include an understanding of or demonstrated aptitude with budgetary and financial concepts.
- Experience in Higher Education a plus.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
