Client Service Associate

We are seeking a Client Service Associate to take responsibility for client support as well as some compliance and accounting functions in an expanding, boutique financial planning firm. This is a part-time position of at least 20 hours a week with the potential for up to 35 hours a week. The position is based out of our Newton, MA office. The role reports to the Director of Operations.

We are looking for a candidate that has a good client-facing demeanor, knowledge of investments/financial planning, strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and an upbeat, energetic, “can do” approach.

• Ongoing interaction with Plum Street’s clients
• Preparing and submitting client paperwork to the custodian for onboarding and account maintenance
• Formatting client presentations
• Ongoing compliance reports and analyses, following our compliance calendar
• Working with our bookkeeper and handling accounting tasks

• College graduate
• Experience in the financial services sector
• Advanced skills using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Knowledge of Salesforce database program a plus
• Ability to work in a less-structured, more flexible small company environment where everyone pitches in and enjoys being a part of the team
