As a non‑profit center, we serve over 50 communities in Massachusetts, offering inpatient, outpatient, and urgent care services to adults and children facing depression, anxiety, mood disorders, substance abuse, and other conditions that hinder personal fulfillment.

Description of Position

CCBC currently partners with five police departments across southeastern MA to provide regular jail diversion and ride‑along services. The Police Ride‑Along/Co‑Response Supervisor will provide clinical oversight, including case consultation and supervision, to clinicians embedded in these departments who provide mental health and crisis response services to the community. The Supervisor will ensure quality control of documentation by careful review of clinical records and monitor trends for data collection.

The Supervisor will serve as the primary point of contact for participating police departments, thereby fostering strong collaborative relationships, addressing operational and training needs, and ensuring alignment with program and grant expectations. This position plays a critical role in strengthening community‑based responses to behavioral health crises while promoting client‑centered and least‑restrictive recommendations for care.

Responsibilities
  • Provide supervision to the CCBC MCI co‑response clinicians
  • Attend monthly CIT meetings
  • Attend and participate in the Annual CCIT training
  • Provide training to Police and Fire Departments on sections and levels of care options available to community members
  • Attend local Bristol and Plymouth HUB meetings
  • Obtain Comprehensive School Threat Assessment Guidelines (CSTAG) certification
  • Provide coverage to vacations and unplanned gaps in co‑response schedules as needed
  • Assist law enforcement with sections 12, 35, and 18
  • Assist with homelessness outreach as needed
  • Complete required program documentation, forms and mandated reports
  • Maintain appropriate internal collaboration and consultation with co‑workers
  • Attend all necessary meetings, supervision and trainings deemed appropriate by management level staff
  • Consider all ethical and legal parameters when providing above named services and seek consultation when parameters are unclear
  • Perform related duties as required
Requirements
  • Candidates must be independently licensed as an LICSW, LMHC, or LMFT
  • The candidate must possess good organizational skills, effective verbal, written and computer skills
  • Proficiency with computers including ability to use or learn to use an electronic health record system, audio‑visual communication technology (i.e. doxy or Zoom), and some use of Microsoft Office suite for emails, internal document access, and organization
