This position entails two distinct functions and is on-site in Weston, MA.
Facilities AssistantReporting to the Plant Manager, the Facilities Assistant is responsible for cleaning common areas, faculty suites, classrooms and offices. Outdoor landscaping and snow removal are required. During the summer months, responsibilities include preparing student rooms for the new year (e.g., cleaning carpets, sanding walls).
Kitchen AssistantReporting to the chef, the Kitchen Assistant is responsible for stocking general areas (coffee, cold beverages, etc.), prepping items for the salad bar and assisting the chef as needed. Washing dishes and pots and pans, and cleaning the kitchen and dining room are also part of duties.
QualificationsDue to the physical nature of these tasks, individuals must be able to lift up to 50 lbs., stand for extended periods of time, and bend, reach, and stoop. Basic knife skills are required.
This is a 40 hour/week, benefit-eligible position.
