HR & Finance Manager - Hybrid / Newton, MA
Our client, a nonprofit organization, is seeking an HR & Finance Manager to support both human resources and accounting operations. This position will be responsible for payroll administration, employee lifecycle activities, financial processes, reconciliations, and maintaining accurate records across multiple business functions.
Responsibilities- Process payroll and maintain related employee records.
- Support onboarding, offboarding, benefits administration, and general HR activities.
- Assist with recruiting coordination and employee communications.
- Maintain confidential personnel and financial information.
- Support accounts receivable, deposits, reconciliations, and other accounting functions.
- Prepare and maintain financial schedules, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit-related activities.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve processes and resolve discrepancies.
- Support ongoing operational, HR, and finance initiatives as needed.
- 3+ years of experience in payroll, finance, accounting, HR, or a related role.
- Experience processing payroll required.
- Experience with HRIS, payroll, or accounting systems preferred.
