About the Role:
We are hiring a Project Manager to lead energy storage projects across Massachusetts and the broader New England ISO territory. This role will focus on both front-of-the-meter and behind-the-meter deployments, navigating Massachusetts-specific clean energy incentive programs and strict permitting requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of BESS project delivery, including planning, procurement, construction, and commissioning.
- Navigate permitting with the Massachusetts Department of Energy Resources (DOER) and local municipalities.
- Work closely with the engineering team to ensure compliance with ISO-NE grid requirements and SMART program incentives.
- Track budgets, timelines, and project deliverables using project management software.
- Oversee contractor performance and ensure all work meets safety and quality standards.
- Prepare regular status updates and reports for senior management.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
- 5+ years of renewable energy project management experience in New England.
- Knowledge of ISO-NE market operations and Massachusetts clean energy incentive programs.
- Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
