About Latinos for Education

Latinos for Education(L4E) is a national nonprofit on a mission to unite Latino communities to transform education policy and practice so every child can thrive. Founded in 2016 in Massachusetts and nowoperatingnationally and across Massachusetts, Texas, and California, we work at the intersection of leadership development and movement building to drive systemic change in education. Our work operates through two reinforcing pillars:

Future Shaping Educators, which develops a new generation of educators and leaders with the competencies, networks, and influence to redesign schools and systems from within; and Movement Building, which organizes Latino families and communities, advances policy advocacy, and shifts the narrative around Latino communities as architects of educational transformation. Together, these pillars generate the leadership pipeline and collective demandrequiredto build an education system that reflects the growing power, culture, and potential of Latino communities.
