The Triage Nurse in Endocrinology at Mass General Brigham will focus on diabetes management and general endocrinology in an outpatient setting. This part-time role is ideal for a nurse with expertise in diabetes technologies and a commitment to patient-centered care.

  Part-Time, 16 hours (2, 8-hour shifts on Thursdays and Fridays)
• Pay: $41.38 - $100.00 per Hour

• Triage incoming phone calls and patient gateway messages.
• Gather important clinical information from patients.
• Collaborate with providers to develop patient care plans.
• Communicate plans with patients via phone or EMR.
• Connect patient data to the EMR.
• Evaluate appropriateness of prescription refills.
• Advocate for patient needs.
• Stay informed on current standards of care in endocrinology.
• Educate patients on endocrine conditions and diabetes self-management.
• Provide clear information on the use of insulin pumps and glucose monitoring systems.

• Education:
  
  Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required.
• Education:
  
  Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience:
  
  Demonstrated clinical competence and experience in the specialty area required.
