Registered Nurse​/Cardiac Rehab

About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Rehab program at Mass General Brigham provides clinical care to patients recovering from cardiac events or diseases. This role is ideal for experienced nurses who can manage telemetry, conduct patient education, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.

• Pay: $41.38 - $100.00/Hourly
• Location: Newton, MA
• Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
• Department/Unit: Cardiac Rehab
• Schedule: Part-Time, Day shift

• Monitor telemetry and vital signs during exercise.
• Conduct group patient education sessions.
• Complete individualized treatment plans and physical assessments.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Quickly interpret telemetry rhythms and respond to acute events.
• Create and maintain a safe therapeutic environment.
• Ensure quality patient care through evidence-based practices.
• Engage patients and families as partners in care.
• Document patient progress and maintain accurate records.
• Participate in performance improvement activities.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required

• Minimum of 5 years nursing experience required
• Cardiac telemetry experience required
• Previous ED or critical care experience required
• Previous cardiac rehab experience preferred

• Current MA RN license required
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required
