About This Role

The Med/Surg Registered Nurse provides professional nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality care.

• Pay: $45.52 - $110.00/Hourly
• Location: Newton, MA
• Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
• Schedule: Per Diem, Rotating

• Render professional nursing care to assigned patients.
• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population‑specific care.
• Support the care of unstable and critically ill patients throughout the hospital.
• Perform a variety of patient care and technical duties in the outpatient Device Clinic.
• Engage patients and families as partners in care.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care and physicians’ orders.
• Evaluate patient responses to established goals and interventions.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation and billing.

• Nursing diploma required, BSN preferred

• 1 year Med/Surg experience required

• Current RN License in Massachusetts
• BLS certification required
• ACLS certification required within the first year of employment
