Registered Nurse - PACU

About This Role

The Registered Nurse in the PACU provides highly professional and technical nursing care to assigned patients, utilizing the nursing process and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality patient care.

• Pay: $41.38 - $100.00/Hourly
• Location: Newton, MA
• Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
• Schedule: Part-Time, Night shift

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care.
• Ensure complete, accurate, and timely written communication of patient information.
• Provide safe, accurate, and timely medication and IV administration.
• Create and maintain a safe and therapeutic environment for patients, self, and co-workers.
• Participate in performance improvement activities to assure quality of nursing practice.
• Coordinate and collaborate with other multidisciplinary team members to facilitate a comprehensive educational plan.

• Other Certificate/Diploma in Nursing required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• 2 years Critical Care/PACU experience required

• Current RN License in MA required
• ACLS certification required
• PALS certification required
