Registered Nurse

• Provides direct care to patients and makes necessary nursing judgments
• Responsible for assessing the health care needs of patients for the formulation of a care plan, its implementation and evaluation
• Coordinates the care of patients and directs assistive personnel
• Works in a collaborative relationship with other health professionals to determine healthcare needs of patients and families
• Ensures that patients and significant others receive education regarding discharge and the community services available

• Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
• Baccalaureate degree in Nursing preferred
• 1-3 years related work experience preferred
• Registered Nurse in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts required
• American Heart Association – Basic Life support Certificate required
• ACLS required for some specific clinical units

Demonstrates expertise in patient care, health assessment, and care plan implementation while collaborating with healthcare professionals. Holds essential certifications and a strong educational background in nursing to ensure high-quality patient education and support.
