About This Role

The Pediatrics RN at Mass General Brigham provides highly professional nursing care to pediatric patients, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure quality care in accordance with professional standards.

• Pay: $41 - $100/hour
• Location: Newton, MA
• Facility: Newton-Wellesley Hospital
• Department/Unit: Pediatrics
• Schedule: Part-Time, Evening shift

• Provide direct and indirect patient care using the nursing process.
• Oversee other assigned team members.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide population-specific care.
• Assess patients' physical, psychological, spiritual, cultural, and social needs.
• Individualize care based on assessments and in collaboration with patients and families.
• Implement clinical and technical aspects of care and physicians’ orders.
• Evaluate patient responses to established goals and interventions.
• Coordinate with appropriate resources and multidisciplinary team members for discharge planning.
• Educate patients and families regarding care and treatment options.
• Ensure compliance with standards of practice and care.

Education:

• BSN required

Experience:

• 2 years Pediatrics experience required

Licenses &

Certifications:

• Current RN License in Massachusetts
• NRP required within the first year of employment
