I’m supporting a leading life sciences organization in identifying a Principal NGS Scientist to join their Next-Generation Sequencing team.
This role is ideal for an experienced NGS technical leader who enjoys driving scientific strategy, developing innovative sequencing approaches, and working cross-functionally to advance impactful research programs.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelors degree or higher in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Genetics, Bioinformatics, or related field preferred
- 5+ years of laboratory experience with strong NGS expertise
- Experience leading NGS projects, developing workflows, and troubleshooting complex technical challenges
- Strong background in sequencing technologies, genomic analysis, and molecular biology techniques
- Proven ability to mentor scientists and collaborate across multidisciplinary teams
- Experience with in biotech/pharma R&D environments is highly desirable
