As a Baker, you’ll work with the overnight team to support the Bakery Department’s daytime operations by producing and ensuring the freshest bakery items are available for our customers. If you have a passion for baking and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, then this could be the role for you!

• Provide a high-quality product to our customers
• Approach, educate and offer meal solutions to our customers
• Work in an accurate and timely manner

• Customer service experience, preferably in a food service, restaurant, grocery or retail setting

• Experience Baking, following recipes and working in a bakery with dough made from scratch
• Advanced organizational, mathematical and time management skills

Physical demands are classified as medium to heavy. Work includes walking, standing for up to 4 hours without a break, repetitive hand and arm movements, occasional heavy lifting, bending, and reaching, along with continuous interaction with customers and coworkers in a fast-paced environment.

The average weight range of items lifted is 5–20 pounds, with a maximum weight lifted of greater than 50 pounds occasionally. You may receive assistance with heavy items, if available. Upper extremity repetition is moderate and trunk movement involves moderate to moderately high twisting, bending, and pivoting.

May be exposed to various allergens. The work environment is indoors and involves exposure to various work environments, including cold (33–55°F), freezing (-20–20°F) and hot temperatures (exceeds 85°F with work surfaces or equipment that exceeds 135°F). Basic tools and equipment used include common baking utensils and equipment, and oven.
