This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on HVAC Controls Service Technician who thrives in the field and wants to work with leading BMS/BAS platforms like Alerton, Tridium, and Honeywell.
Your MissionAs a Controls Technician, you’ll take ownership of the full service cycle — from reactive troubleshooting to planned maintenance, small project installations, and client training. You’ll play a vital role in delivering long‑term system performance, comfort, and energy efficiency across commercial facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Perform service, maintenance, and repair work on HVAC building controls systems
- Lead and execute small works service projects from planning through to delivery
- Provide onsite support and engineering guidance to customers
- Carry out programming, commissioning, and checkout of new installations
- Assist in selecting, sourcing, and ordering system components
- Identify and implement energy‑saving solutions
- Maintain documentation and communication throughout all job phases
- 5+ years’ experience in HVAC or controls‑related roles
- 2+ years in BMS/BAS service work, ideally with exposure to Alerton, Tridium, Honeywell, or Johnson Controls
- Comfortable reading schematics, programming logic, and energy‑saving strategies
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Tridium AX certification highly preferred
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Visio, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
- Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and customer‑first mindset
- Ability to manage time effectively across multiple service jobs
