Position Overview
Provide electrical maintenance support for manufacturing operations and facilities. This position does not support immigration sponsorship.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities- Providing electrical / controls support to facilities equipment.
- Performing troubleshooting and repair of electrical systems including motors, starters, fans, pumps, UPS, VFDs, PLC controls, fire alarm systems, generators, breakers, and medium voltage power distribution equipment.
- Calibrating and troubleshooting digital and analog instrumentation.
- Providing technical assistance to project teams.
- Helping monitor and optimize facilities processes.
- Certified or licensed electrician.
- Strong electrical background; ability to read and interpret blueprints, block diagrams, piping diagrams, ladder logic, schematic diagrams, electrical power distribution diagrams, P&, loop sheets, and motor elementary drawings.
- Successful completion of plant electrical assessment process.
- Some familiarity with Dashboard, PI, or SPC.
- Willingness to work alternating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- High school or GED, or a two‑year electrical or electronics degree with at least two years of electrical industrial experience.
- Electrical license and/or certifications; 2–5 years of electrical experience.
- Experience with computer/PLC controls, HMI, and associated components.
- Experience with industrial systems such as air compressors, chillers, and vacuum systems (operation or troubleshooting).
- Root‑cause analysis techniques.
- Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships and participate in teams.
- Electrical contractor’s license, NFPA
70e electrical safety certification, and experience with wire pulling or conduit bending.
- Exposure to fumes, noise, oil, dirt, heat, and cold temperatures.
- Must be able to exert a force of 36 to 100 pounds and lift 5 to 50 pounds.
- Ability to use ladders and work at heights above 6 feet.
The hourly rate ranges from $24.50 to $30.75, with starting pay dependent on factors such as location, market demands, experience, training, and education.
