Boston Marriott Newton is a premier property along the Charles River that features 430 well‑appointed guest rooms and 34,090 square feet of versatile meeting space.

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to perform a variety of maintenance trade functions such as installation, maintenance, or repair of HVAC, painting, wall repair, tile work, and upkeep of the preventative maintenance program at the hotel.

• Perform general maintenance of building and facility mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Perform general electrical repairs on appliances, house wiring, air conditioning systems, switches, fixtures, and motors.
• Make repairs on plumbing fixtures, piping, drains, and sanitary systems.
• Repair woodwork, wall vinyl, doors, windows, carpeting, and other surfaces.
• Perform general mechanical maintenance on pumps, compressors, water heaters, automotive equipment, and other miscellaneous equipment.
• Maintain logs of completed tasks and submit reports to supervisors in a timely manner.

• Experience working in a maintenance role at a hotel or resort.
• Knowledge of household repairs (carpentry, electrical, plumbing, etc.).
• Engaging and welcoming personality.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast‑paced environment.
• Passion for creating an exceptional experience for all guests.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to walk, stand, reach, crouch, bend, push/pull, and lift up to 50 lbs during the shift.

$26.00 – $26.00 per hour.
