Seasonal Repair Specialist

Overview

As a certified Safelite Repair Specialist I, you will use industry‑leading technology to complete vehicle glass repairs and promote the Safelite Spirit with a can‑do attitude, caring heart, and service mindset while striving to deliver the highest quality to customers.

• Learn to repair vehicle glass in the classroom and hands‑on, focusing on the Safelite Way of Fitting under the guidance of experienced technicians.
• Repair chips, cracks and other auto glass related issues on customer vehicles.
• Manage work orders, customer documentation and communication through the Safelite handheld Mobile Resource Management (MRM) technology.
• Promote and sell Safelite promotional items to customers.
• Clean customer vehicles during wait or idle time and perform additional housekeeping tasks in company vehicles and the shop.
• Safely operate company and customer vehicles, company‑issued tools and chemicals.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
• Comply with all policies and standards.

• Competitive weekly base pay starting at $20.25.
• Paid training and all the tools and resources needed to be successful.

• High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent.
• Valid state‑issued driver's license (and any other licenses required by law).
• Completion of Safelite Safe Tech certification through on‑the‑job training.
• Minimum age 18 years.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs. and assist with windshields weighing 26–50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods, work in tight spaces, bend and twist.
• Knowledge of hand and power tools and safe use of chemicals.
• Ability to operate motor vehicles in compliance with laws, subject to camera and video monitoring.
• Strong customer service and communication skills in English.
• Ability to work scheduled days, with flexibility on start and end times, and outside in varying weather.
• Problem‑solving and troubleshooting ability.
• Willingness to maintain stable performance under professional or personal pressure.

This position involves driving duties monitored through cameras, GPS and other tracking technologies.
