Arlo House is seeking a responsible and dependable live-in Assistant House Manager
. This unique opportunity provides free housing in exchange for overnight presence and light cooking and house management responsibilities within our women's sober living home.
The Assistant House Manager serves as a supportive presence in the home, helping maintain a safe, structured, and recovery-focused environment for residents.
Responsibilities- Sleep overnight at the residence as scheduled
- Be available to respond to house needs or emergencies
- Support a positive, respectful, and recovery-oriented atmosphere
- Assist with basic house oversight and resident accountability
- Communicate any concerns or incidents to management
- Help ensure house rules and expectations are followed
- Perform light administrative or house-related tasks as needed
- Responsible, reliable, and professional
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in recovery, behavioral health, or sober living environments preferred
- Ability to maintain appropriate boundaries and confidentiality
- Must pass a background check
This is a housing-for-services position. The Assistant House Manager receives a private room in our beautiful sober living home in exchange for overnight presence and limited house management duties.
