Senior Web Developer; Front-End

We also have a thriving Web consulting business, ITS Interactive. This role will have exciting web development challenges from both business lines.

As a Senior Web Developer, you’ll be working with the latest .Net technologies. You’ll be involved in the building out of new applications for our in-house brands and client websites. You will also have the opportunity to develop expertise in Search Engine Optimization. You’ll have the latitude to work independently and add value creatively as you research and discover innovative ways to solve technical problems to meet increasingly complex industry and internal system challenges.

• Contribute to specific front-end web development efforts as specified by group lead.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and researchers to refine the user experience.
• Work closely with engineers across the organization to improve and maintain multi-tiered web-based applications.
• Comply with process methodologies including source control, unit testing, and coding standards for HTML and CSS.
• Perform basic requirements of testing, debugging, and troubleshooting in a dynamic production environment.
• Develop your back-end programming skills to contribute beyond the front-end when opportunities arise.

• Experience with in an e-commerce or content-driven application environment.
• A desire to work as a front-end lead on projects.
• Strong foundation in graphic design or strong design sensibility.
• Strong insight into user advocacy and website usability.
• Understanding of how to consume web services and use domain objects to build web front end interfaces.
• Solid understanding of SEO best practices.
• Familiarity with application development with social networking sites a plus!
• Must have good communications skills and be a strong team player.
• 3-5 years of related web development experience.
