10+ years of software engineering experience

2+ years of engineering management or technical leadership experience

Strong hands-on background in backend software engineering

Experience working within cloud-native environments

Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and release automation

Experience with Kubernetes and containerized applications

Familiarity with Infrastructure-as-Code practices and tools

Experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives

Strong communication and stakeholder management skills

Experience improving engineering productivity and software delivery processes

Desired Skills & Experience

Experience leading Platform Engineering, Developer Productivity, Dev Ops, or Infrastructure teams

Experience building internal developer platforms and self-service engineering tools

Experience managing backend and infrastructure-focused engineers

Experience supporting large-scale distributed systems

Familiarity with engineering metrics and software delivery performance measurements

Experience implementing AI-assisted engineering tools and workflows

Financial services, payments, banking, investment technology, or fintech experience

Experience operating in highly available, security-focused environments

What You Will Be Doing Daily Responsibilities

Lead and develop a team focused on platform engineering and infrastructure

Improve software development, testing, deployment, and operational workflows

Build scalable internal platforms that accelerate engineering productivity

Drive initiatives focused on automation, reliability, observability, and developer experience

Partner with engineering leaders to identify and eliminate delivery bottlenecks

Establish technical standards across CI/CD, infrastructure automation, testing, and monitoring

Evaluate emerging technologies that improve developer efficiency and software quality

Lead major platform initiatives from architecture through production rollout

Mentor engineers and foster a culture of continuous improvement

Contribute to long-term platform and engineering strategy

The Offer

Base Salary: $175,000 - $230,000
