Transportation Manager

Our client is privately owned company with a new plant in northern MA. Due to growth, seeking a Transportation Manager to lead the Transportation Dept. Primary duties/responsibilities include:

• Recruit, train, coach, and manage transportation staff, driving performance, accountability, safety compliance, and operational excellence.
• Oversee fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, leasing, fuel, payroll, and transportation budgets to maximize efficiency and control costs.
• Develop driver schedules, monitored productivity, enforced company policies, and achieved service, quality, and profitability objectives.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, labor regulations, and safety standards while maintaining accurate records and promptly resolving incidents.
• Build strong customer relationships, resolved transportation issues, collaborated across departments, and implemented continuous process improvements.

Position reports to General Manager.

Ideal candidates for Transportation Manager will possess the following:

• 5+ years experience in transportation management
• Must possess active CDL License
• Understanding DOT regulations

Salary up to $105k/yr. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401k, FSA.
