Special Education Teacher - ABA Experience Preferred (Full-Time, Tenure Track)

Description: Opening for the 2026-27 school year for a certified Special Education Teacher with a background preferred in Applied Behavior Analysis for small group instruction. This candidate must be dedicated to providing individualized academic and behavioral support.
Job Responsibilities- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) with a focus on ABA strategies.
- Collect and analyze data to track student progress in communication, social skills, and academics.
- Supervise classroom paraprofessionals.
- Collaborate with BCBAs, therapists, and parents.
- NJDOE Certified Teacher of Students with Disabilities (#2475) or NJ Certified Teacher of the Handicapped (#2470) Certification required.
- NJDOE Certified Elementary School Teacher (#1000 or #1001) CEAS, Provisional or Standard Certificate required.
- NJDOE residency and Criminal Background Clearance required.
- Salary based on educational experience and qualifications.
- Salary and Benefits are according to the HTEA contractual agreement.
- Sick, personal, and bereavement days included.
