Adjunct Instructor of Math

Adjunct Instructors Needed

Sussex County Community College is looking for adjunct instructors to teach statistics and other math courses during the day, in person on-campus at our college in Newton, New Jersey. Successful candidates will have completed a master's degree in mathematics, statistics or a related field or at least 18 graduate math credits.

Minimum qualifications:

Master's degree in mathematics, statistics or a related field. A bachelor's degree in mathematics or statistics is required.

Prior college/university teaching experience preferred.

The learning management system (LMS) that we use for is Canvas. Prior knowledge of Canvas or similar learning platform is preferred. Although not a requirement strong technical and computer proficiency is recommended.

• Prior teaching experience and knowledge of online instruction strongly preferred.
• NJ, NY, and PA residence recommended.

Adjunct pay is based on $910 per credit hour.
