Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare provides Comprehensive Youth and Family Support Services to primary caregivers of children and teens with Developmental and Intellectual Disabilities. Serving the state of New Jersey. We are looking for Part Time Behavioral Assistants (BA’s) to join our team!

- Visit the client at home or in the community to provide relief to caregivers and holistic support to youth.
- Work approximately 2–20 hours weekly in 2–4 hour shifts starting after 3:00 PM during the school year and as early as 8:30 AM during the summer. Services available any day of the week to accommodate client scheduling needs.
- Develop and implement Individual Support Plans.
- Deliver and monitor behavior analysis services.
- Submit weekly clinical progress notes within 24 hours of service provision and complete intake data assessments.
- Collect and display data (e.g., graphics) authorized by the recipient’s behavioral analysis service plan.
- Ensure compliance with service authorization, including time frames and service hours.
- Implement interventions outlined in the Individual Support Plan.
- Implement behavioral procedures for the acquisition of replacement skills and reduction of problematic behaviors.
- Carry out treatment as designated by the supervising behavior analyst, including:
- Facilitating environmental arrangements.
- Using proactive strategies.
- Teaching and developing new skills.
- Managing specific consequences for behavior based on function.
- Work with the child or youth to increase ADL skills within their home and during community outings.
- Assist parent/guardian in implementing the treatment plan.
- Assist the behavior analyst in training caregivers and/or staff.
- Crisis prevention, recognition, and intervention.
- Ensure all agency policies are implemented and followed.

- Understanding of evidence-based interventions for individuals with behavioral and developmental disabilities.
- Willing to be a positive role model and provide emotional & psychological support to clients.
- Bachelor’s Degree in psychology or related field.
- 2–4 years experience in behavioral healthcare (maladaptive behaviors).
- 2–4 years experience working with children with disabilities (developmental/intellectual disabilities, mental illness).
- Valid NJ Driver’s license and proof of car insurance.
- Consent to and pass State/Federal Criminal Background Checks.
- Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without current or future visa sponsorship. We are unable to sponsor H-1B or other employment visas at this time.
