Key Responsibilities
- Operate and maintain a carrier‑class VoIP platform, ensuring 99.99% availability across SIP, RTP, and related protocols.
- Investigate and resolve production incidents, performing root cause analysis and implementing preventive measures.
- Collaborate with development teams to review design, implement operational hardening, and automate monitoring and alerting.
- Develop and maintain scripts (Python, Bash) for diagnostics, performance tuning, and incident response.
- Lead post‑mortem reviews, documenting findings and driving continuous improvement.
- 5+ years of experience in VoIP operations, with deep knowledge of SIP, RTP, and related protocols.
- Strong Linux system administration skills and experience with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, tcpdump).
- Proficiency in Python for automation and monitoring.
- Hands‑on experience with incident response, post‑mortem culture, and reliability engineering practices.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross‑functionally in a fast‑paced environment.
