The Manufacturing Tech II is responsible for handling more advanced production tasks in one specific role within the manufacturing department, with a focus on technical expertise. The primary role will be one of the following:
Extraction Technician (Solventless and Hydrocarbon Extraction) or Post-Processing Technician. The Tech II will be cross-trained in other roles to ensure operational flexibility within the department.
Primary Role Operations:
Perform specialized tasks related to the assigned role, ensuring efficient production, safety, and compliance with quality standards.
Cross-Training in Other Roles:While primarily focused on one area, the Tech II will be cross-trained in other roles (extraction, post-processing, audit) to provide support when needed.
Quality Control:Conduct quality control processes, ensuring the consistency, purity, and compliance of the products in the assigned role.
Equipment Maintenance:Operate and maintain the necessary production equipment for the assigned role, ensuring that all equipment functions correctly and reporting any issues to the Manufacturing Lead.
Compliance:Follow all regulatory compliance and safety protocols for the assigned role, ensuring the safe handling of materials.
PrimaryRole Description s:
Extraction Technician (Solventless and Hydrocarbon):
- Operate and maintain extraction equipment for both solventless and hydrocarbon extraction processes.
- Assist in the production of cannabis concentrates, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Perform quality checks on raw materials and finished products to ensure compliance with company standards.
- Manage the post-processing of cannabis extracts, including winterization, filtration, distillation, and product formulation.
- Operate post-processing equipment and ensure proper maintenance and cleaning.
- Perform quality control checks during the refinement process and document results accurately.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts of cannabis goods, print labels, maintain the state's seed to sale tracking system, METRC
- Other duties as assigned
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or certification in relevant areas preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in a cannabis-related or manufacturing role, with experience in extraction or post-processing preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of the assigned role’s production techniques (extraction or post-processing).
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting and moving materials up to 50 lbs.
