Aboutthe Role
The Evening Shift Supervisor oversees the nursing staff during evening shifts, ensuring our patients receive exceptional care and attention. As a supervisor, you will be responsible for managing patient care, delegating tasks, and providing guidance and support to our nursing team. Your expertise and leadership skills will be essential in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Responsibilities- Supervise nursing staff during evening shifts, ensuring that patient care is delivered in accordance with our facility's policies and procedures.
- Manage patient assignments to ensure each patient receives the highest level of care.
- Provide guidance and support to staff members, addressing any concerns or issues that may arise.
- Maintain accurate records of patient care, including progress notes, medication administration, and treatment plans.
- Collaborate with other departments, such as pharmacy and laboratory, to ensure seamless care coordination.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for process improvements and implementing changes as necessary.
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the state of New Jersey.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience as a registered nurse.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
- Excellent clinical skills, with the ability to assess patient needs and develop effective care plans.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities.
