American Traveler is seeking an RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position requiring a NJ or compact RN license and 2 years of critical care experience.

• Cardiac Catheterization Lab setting within a hospital
• 4-day work week with 9.5-10 hour shifts, 7AM-5PM
• STEMI on-call requirement of 10-12 shifts per month, including 1-2 weekends (Friday 5pm-Monday 7am)
• Floating required as needed to a nearby sister hospital
• Uses Epic EMR for charting

• Active NJ or compact RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years critical care experience required
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in Nursing preferred

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments across all age groups from pediatric to geriatric
• Deliver competent clinical care including use of emergency equipment and procedures
• Maintain thorough documentation of nursing care and patient progress
• Provide pre-operative and post-operative patient assessment and education
• Support timely completion of Pre-Admission Testing (PAT) and evaluate orders for appropriateness
• Follow National Patient Safety Goals including Universal Protocol and two-patient identifier verification
• Local candidates accepted at a different pay rate
• Travelers may stay on assignment up to one calendar year from initial start date, with a required break before returning
• Background check and drug screening required, allow at least 2 weeks for results processing
