Monday – Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm; occasional overtime required during installation and startup phases
What You'll Do- Own equipment integration projects from initial concept through installation, debug, commissioning, and qualification handoff
- Coordinate across manufacturing, process engineering, facilities, quality, EHS, automation, and supply chain teams
- Define integration scope, timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
- Manage vendor relationships through equipment design, FAT/SAT, installation, and acceptance
- Oversee equipment setup, startup, testing, debugging, and performance optimization
- Drive issue resolution during installation using structured troubleshooting and root cause analysis
- Prepare and maintain project documentation — specs, SOPs, change controls, work instructions, risk assessments, and turnover packages
- Track project progress, risks, budgets, and schedules with regular stakeholder updates
- Support training of operations and maintenance personnel on newly integrated equipment
- Lead continuous improvement efforts targeting equipment reliability, uptime, and throughput
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or a related field
- Several years of hands‑on experience in equipment integration, manufacturing engineering, or capital project execution
- Proven ability to lead equipment installation, startup, and commissioning activities
- Strong project management and cross‑functional coordination skills
- Proficiency with CAD and statistical analysis tools — JMP, Minitab, or equivalent
- Six Sigma certification or formal continuous improvement training
- Knowledge of FAT, SAT, IQ, OQ, or PQ validation methodologies
- Experience with CMMS, ERP, or engineering documentation systemsPMP or equivalent project management certification
- Background in optical fiber, advanced manufacturing, or other regulated high‑tech industries
- Fully onsite role in an active manufacturing environment
- Off‑hours or weekend support may be needed during critical installation or startup phases
- No international travel required
