Mechanical Engineer
Tekberry is hiring a Mechanical Engineer to support operations within a high-volume manufacturing environment. This role will support production line installation activities via procurement of services, equipment, and parts, design of simple fixtures, assemblies and stands, and interfacing with 3rd party contractors. The candidate should be able to apply scientific and technological principles encompassed in mechanics, hydraulics, and machine design in support of the design, production, operation, and use of machinery of all types.
Responsibilities/
Skills:
- Requires understanding and application of standard mechanical engineering methodologies with general knowledge of other related disciplines.
- Able to read blue prints and part drawings and familiarity with CAD.
- Provides technical solutions to a wide range of installation problems.
- Works under minimal direction, supporting a Lead Engineer by independently determining and developing approaches to solutions. Frequent inter organizational and/or external contacts.
- Understanding and application of standard mechanical engineering methodologies
- Experience supporting production line installation activities via procurement of services.
Education/
Experience:
- Minimum of HS Diploma + 7 years' experience in Manufacturing, or BS in a technical field + 3 years' experience
