Production Line/Pulper Operator

As a Production Operator, you'll be involved in every stage of the manufacturing process, from preparing raw materials and operating sophisticated production equipment to inspecting, packaging, and tracking finished products. Key Responsibilities

  • Follow all safety procedures, use required PPE, operate forklifts and equipment safely, and complete required safety inspections and certifications.
  • Maintain compliance with GMP, ISO, food safety, and quality standards while supporting audits and documentation requirements.
  • Accurately record production, quality, and operational data in logs, ERP systems, and manufacturing modules.
  • Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, quality personnel, and other departments to support production goals and resolve issues.
  • Operate production lines to achieve product specifications by setting equipment parameters, weighing materials, monitoring processes, and making adjustments as needed.
  • Monitor product quality throughout production, identify defects or contamination, and coordinate corrective actions with Quality Control and production teams.
  • Perform pulping operations, including staging materials, inspecting raw materials, weighing ingredients, and supporting batch preparation activities.
  • Set up and operate converting equipment, inspect finished products, package materials according to work orders, and process finished goods transactions in the ERP system.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum two years production experience preferred.

This position typically functions in a manufacturing and warehouse environment. Exposure to hot and cold temperatures is dependent on climate. Exposure to moderate noise levels, fumes, dust, chemicals, heat/cold, and allergens especially in the plant/warehouse environment.
