We are looking for dependable, motivated individuals to join our production team as a Production Associate / Powder Coat Loader. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to learn new skills, gain manufacturing experience, and build a long-term career in a stable production environment.
No previous powder coating experience is required. We are willing to train candidates who are eager to learn, work hard, and take pride in producing quality work.
What You'll Do- Load metal parts onto the powder coating line, including baskets, gates, grills, frames, and handles
- Clean and prepare powder coat racks before hanging parts
- Inspect parts to identify areas with light or missing powder coverage
- Manually apply powder to areas not fully coated by the automated system
- Assist with color changes and production changeovers
- Clean powder coating booths, hoses, and related equipment
- Move and install powder coating modules with assistance from team members
- Connect hoses and adjust powder flow rates and gun settings as needed
- Monitor spray patterns and troubleshoot coating issues
- Perform quality checks on finished products and welding appearance
- Follow safety and quality standards
- Assist with other production duties as assigned
- Strong work ethic and reliable attendance
- Willingness to learn and be trained
- Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to stand, bend, lift, and move throughout the shift
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial experience is a plus, but not required
This position works inside a metal manufacturing facility. Employees should be comfortable working in an industrial setting where temperatures can become hot, especially during warmer months and around production equipment.
This is a physically active position that requires employees to be on their feet for most of the shift and regularly handle metal components.
