Our Optical Communications segment has recently evolved from being a manufacturer of optical fiber and cable, hardware and equipment to being a comprehensive provider of industry-leading optical solutions across the broader communications industry. This segment is classified into two main product groupings – carrier network and enterprise network. The carrier network product group consists primarily of products and solutions for optical-based communications infrastructure for services such as video, data and voice communications.
The enterprise network product group consists primarily of optical-based communication networks sold to businesses, governments and individuals for their own use.

Aboutthe Role
As a Manufacturing Associate – Cables, you will support cable production by operating equipment, checking product quality, handling materials, and helping keep production running safely and efficiently. This is a hands-on role in a fast-paced manufacturing environment where reliability, attention to detail, and a safety-first mindset matter every day.

What You'll DoOperate and monitor cable manufacturing equipment. Perform product quality checks and report issues when identified. Follow standard work, safety procedures, and production instructions. Support line start-up, changeovers, and routine production tasks. Load, unload, move, and stage materials for production. Complete production records and use computer systems as needed. Keep the work area clean, safe, and organized.

Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED
- At least 18 years of age
- Must be willing and able to work a rotating 12-hour schedule, including days, nights, weekends, holidays, and overtime as needed
- Ability to meet pre-employment and work authorization requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 or more years of manufacturing or related experience
- Background in manufacturing, assembly, packaging, warehouse, machine operation, or material handling
- Familiarity meeting production goals, quality standards, quotas, line speeds, or other output expectations
