Licensed Practical Nurse - Newton, North Carolina

Advance your nursing career in a supportive skilled nursing environment, providing exceptional care to patients requiring both short-term and long-term rehabilitation. This contract opportunity offers 8-hour night shifts (11:00pm-7:00am, Monday through Friday) with a 40-hour workweek. Every other weekend is required, and holiday coverage will be 75% of scheduled holidays. Floating within the regional rehab network (including Cleveland Pines, Huntersville Oaks, Jesse Helms, Sardis Oaks, and Stanly Manor) is expected based on changing care needs, with paid travel time between sites during your shift.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Active LPN license and current BLS certification required
• At least 18 months of experience in a Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long-Term Care (LTC)/Rehab setting
• Strong skills in trach management (refresher provided at orientation), foley catheter care, wound care, dressing changes, IV initiation and management, and tube feeding
• Familiarity with EPIC EMR and medication dispensing systems such as Omnicell
• Flexibility to float between facilities as needed
• Traveler's permanent address must be at least 50 miles from assigned facility
• Ceil blue scrubs required

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality bedside care to a diverse patient population recovering from strokes, amputations, joint replacements, neurological disorders, and similar conditions
• Collaborate with a comprehensive healthcare team, including nursing administration, case management, therapy staff, and HCT
• Participate in the admission process, with 1-2 admissions expected daily
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation in EPIC
• Adhere to departmental policies and regional floating requirements
