Overview

CTG’s long-standing Fortune 500 client is seeking an Equipment Qualification Technician III. This role ensures manufacturing and lab equipment meets regulatory standards, performs qualification testing, troubleshooting, calibration, and documentation, and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Candidates must be able to commute and work onsite in Newton, NC
Pay Rate: Based on experience
Work Hours: M-F 8am-5pm (initial training 7 AM – 7 PM for first 4–6 weeks)
Education: Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or a related technical field

• Execute IQ, OQ, PQ protocols on new and existing equipment
• Conduct testing, calibration, troubleshooting, and RCA with SMEs
• Maintain accurate qualification documentation and assist with audits
• Train operators and provide technical support
• Apply process improvement methodologies (FMEA, Six Sigma, DOE, DMAIC, Fishbone)

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Knowledge of regulatory standards (FDA, GMP, GLP, ISO)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively; physically capable of equipment inspections
